About the organisation
One of the older conservation NGOs in the Khumbu, the Trust manages waste collection along the Everest trail, runs plant nurseries above Namche, and works with lodge owners on kerosene and electric alternatives to firewood.
Current work
- Trail-side waste collection between Lukla and Gorakshep
- Community nursery producing 40,000 seedlings a year
- Clean cooking transition grants for 60 lodges
